Hygiene and Safety Precautions
When you get a tattoo or piercing done, nothing is more important than proper hygiene. Rest assured that our studio is 100-percent clean and sterile. Hygiene is a number-one priority at Controlled
Abrasions, and our studio exceeds the regulatory requirements.
Our machines and accessories are cleaned after every use using an autoclave. We use disposable needles and tubes that are discarded after every use. Our tattoo artists are licensed and trained to use
full hygienic gear, including disinfectant, sterilization, latex gloves, and nitrile if needed.
Our studio is disinfected and sterilized every day and night down to the last corner. Work surfaces, customer chairs and other contact points are sterilized assiduously on a regular basis.

Tattoo artists are available by appointment and for walk-in customers during the following hours:
SUN 2:00pm - 7:00pm
MON 2:00pm - 7:00pm
TUES 2:00pm - 9:00pm
WED Closed
THURS 2:00pm - 9:00pm
FRI 2:00pm - 9:00pm
SAT 2:00pm - 9:00pm
Artists can come in early, stay late, or come in on Wednesday by request. Please contact our shop for further information.
Note: Shop hours may vary. Controlled Abrasions may open or close early due to inclement weather or a slow day. Please call our shop before-hand if traveling from a distance. We apoloize for any inconvenience.
